LPS Coral
Frogspawn Coral.
A favorite Euphyllia — flowing tentacles tipped like frogspawn that wave hypnotically in the current. It has stinging sweepers, so give it room from other corals; moderate light and gentle flow keep it happy in a 30-gallon-plus reef.

Good tank mates
Frogspawn is a large-polyp stony coral with long sweeper tentacles that sting neighboring corals, so leave open space around it and keep it well away from other LPS, SPS, and soft corals. It pairs naturally with clownfish, which often host in its flowing tentacles, and coexists with peaceful reef fish, snails, and most shrimp; avoid placing it touching any other coral colony. Branching Euphyllia (frogspawn, hammer, torch) generally tolerate being near each other, but give every coral room.
Good to know
Clownfish that lack a natural anemone will frequently adopt a frogspawn coral as a surrogate host, nestling into its grape-like tentacles.
