Freshwater Plants
Bronze Wendtii Cryptocoryne.
A bronze-leaved crypt that brings warm, rippled color to the midground — tough, adaptable, and beginner-friendly. It may 'melt' after planting, then bounce back stronger; root it in good substrate in a tank of five gallons or more.

Good tank mates
An aquatic rosette plant with no temperament, safe alongside any peaceful community fish, shrimp, and snails. It is a favorite midground plant for tanks with tetras, rasboras, dwarf cichlids, and bottom-dwellers, and it tolerates being grazed near without harm. Larger digging or rooting fish may disturb its base, so anchor it well.
Good to know
Crypts like this one are famous for 'crypt melt,' where the leaves dissolve after a move or change, then regrow stronger from the same healthy root system.
