Live animals are sold in store only — we do not ship fish, coral, or invertebrates. Every animal is acclimated and health-checked in-house before it reaches the sales floor. This is a species we carry — it's most likely in the tanks around delivery days, but live stock changes daily. Please call (814) 456-9445 to confirm availability before you drive in.

Good tank mates
These are easy-going livebearers and a classic community starter, but since their temperament isn't logged on this listing, compatibility depends on the individual fish and your setup. As a general rule, avoid known fin-nippers (like tiger barbs) and anything large enough to eat a guppy. For specific pairings, call us and we'll match them to your tank.
Good to know
Guppies are livebearers that give birth to free-swimming young instead of laying eggs, and a single female can store sperm to produce several batches of fry from one mating.
Stock and individual temperament vary — call (814) 456-9445 for pairing advice before you buy.

Bronze Cory
Peaceful bottom-dwellers that occupy a different level of the water column than guppies, creating zero competition or aggression. Both species share compatible hardwater tropical parameters and are confirmed as a classic, safe community pairing by multiple aquarium sources.

Neon Tetra
Peaceful schooling fish confirmed compatible with guppies at pH 7.0–7.5 and 72–78°F. Fin-nipping from neon tetras is stress-induced and rare; keeping them in schools of 8 or more in a planted tank virtually eliminates the risk to fancy guppies' flowing fins.

Harlequin Rasbora
Peaceful mid-water schooling fish with confirmed parameter overlap (pH 6.8–7.4, 74–78°F) and no aggression toward adult guppies. Note: they will consume guppy fry, so a separate grow-out tank is advisable if breeding, but they pose no threat to adult fish.

Molly
A fellow livebearer with compatible freshwater parameters and peaceful temperament. Cross-breeding with guppies is biologically improbable due to a significant chromosome number difference (mollies 2n=46 vs. guppies 2n=60); documented hybrids are typically infertile. Minor size and boisterousness differences do not create meaningful aggression issues.

Assorted Platy
Peaceful livebearer with well-matched water parameters (pH 7.0–8.3, 65–78°F) and comparable size and temperament. No aggression, no fin-nipping, and no cross-breeding risk with guppies. Consistently listed as one of the safest guppy tankmates across multiple care guides.
