Good tank mates
Peaceful and community-safe, so it pairs well with other calm community fish: small tetras (neon, ember), rasboras (harlequin), and peaceful livebearers like platies and guppies. Keep it in a group of three or more of its own kind. Avoid large or aggressive fish, cichlids, and fin-nippers, and skip any tankmate big enough to swallow it.
Good to know
Corydoras catfish can gulp air at the surface and absorb oxygen through their intestine, which lets them survive in low-oxygen water.
Stock and individual temperament vary — call (814) 456-9445 for pairing advice before you buy.
