Freshwater Fish
Red Glo Angelfish.
A freshwater angelfish in a bright fluorescent red — tall and graceful, bringing vertical drama to a planted tank. Beginner-friendly, but it grows and can get territorial at spawning time; give it a 30-gallon-plus tank with height and gentle tankmates.
In-store purchase only. Live fish, coral, and invertebrates are sold at our Erie store only. They cannot be bought online, and we do not ship live animals under any circumstances.
Live fish are priced per supplier batch — prices may vary. Call to confirm current pricing.

Live animals are sold in store only — we do not ship fish, coral, or invertebrates. Every animal is acclimated and health-checked in-house before it reaches the sales floor. This is a species we carry — it's most likely in the tanks around delivery days, but live stock changes daily. Please call (814) 456-9445 to confirm availability before you drive in.

Good tank mates
Freshwater angelfish are tall, slow-moving cichlids that are calm when young but grow territorial as they mature, especially when paired up. They can eat very small fish such as neon tetras, and their long fins make them a target for nippers like tiger and serpae tetras, so choose peaceful, medium-sized tankmates and give them vertical swimming room.
Good to know
Freshwater angelfish are cichlids from the Amazon basin, and their tall, laterally compressed body lets them slip between vertical plant stems and roots in the wild.
Stock and individual temperament vary — call (814) 456-9445 for pairing advice before you buy.

Bronze Cory
Peaceful bottom dwellers that clean up uneaten food without competing for mid-water territory. They occupy a completely different water column, share tropical parameter ranges, and are universally recommended alongside angelfish by expert sources.

Bristlenose Pleco
Docile herbivore that stays on the glass and substrate — no territorial or feeding conflict with mid-water angelfish. Water parameters overlap completely, and at 4–5 inches they are never prey or predator relative to angelfish.
- B
Bolivian Ram
Peaceful South American dwarf cichlid with overlapping water parameters (pH 6.5–7.5, soft to moderately hard water) that match angelfish well. Both prefer slow-moving water and do not compete for the same territory in a suitably sized tank (55 gal+).
