Peacock Mantis Shrimp.
The peacock mantis shrimp is a spectacular 6-inch marine crustacean with club-like raptorial appendages that accelerate fast enough to crack aquarium glass and complex stalked eyes that see color ranges humans can't. It is a committed predator — fish, snails, crabs, all fair game — and belongs alone in a dedicated 20-gallon-plus species tank with a keeper who wants it on purpose.
