Invertebrates
Long-Spine Sea Urchin.
A striking reef invertebrate with a small central body and a dramatic halo of long, needle-thin spines. Long-spine urchins are excellent algae grazers that roam the rockwork keeping surfaces clean. Their sharp spines make them a bold living accent and a natural deterrent in the tank.

Live animals are sold in store only — we do not ship fish, coral, or invertebrates. Every animal is acclimated and health-checked in-house before it reaches the sales floor. This is a species we carry — it's most likely in the tanks around delivery days, but live stock changes daily. Please call (814) 456-9445 to confirm availability before you drive in.

Good tank mates
Peaceful with fish and most tankmates, though its long spines can be hazardous to handlers and it may bump or dislodge unsecured corals as it grazes.
Good to know
Its long spines can pivot toward a shadow or threat, and it uses them along with tube feet to slowly wander the reef at night.
Stock and individual temperament vary — call (814) 456-9445 for pairing advice before you buy.
