Good tank mates
Semi-aggressive and best for a semi-community setup, so give it similarly-sized, not-timid tankmates that can hold their own, such as larger tetras, barbs, or sturdy catfish. It is territorial over its own patch of driftwood, so keep one per spot and provide caves. Not for a peaceful nano community, and avoid other plecos crowding its territory.
