Freshwater Fish
Ghost Glass Catfish.
A see-through catfish — you can watch its spine and organs as it hovers mid-water in a group. Peaceful but a little delicate, so keep a school of five-plus in clean, gentle water in a 30-gallon-plus tank. Endlessly fascinating to watch.

Good tank mates
Glass catfish are peaceful, community-safe, and a bit shy, so they pair best with other calm, gentle fish. Good categories: small peaceful tetras and rasboras, other quiet schooling fish, and easygoing bottom-dwellers like corydoras. A few real examples: harlequin rasboras, neon tetras, and pygmy cory cats. Avoid fin-nippers, boisterous or much larger fish, and anything aggressive that could stress this delicate, slow-moving species. They feel most secure in a school of five or more.
Good to know
The glass catfish is nearly transparent, so you can see its spine and internal organs through its body.
