Striped Headstander
South American mid-water characin explicitly named on the Seriously Fish L. triactis profile. Although Anostomus is known to nip the fins of soft-finned fish, L. triactis is a loricariid with bony, spined fin rays and full body armor — the nipping risk does not apply. Occupies the upper-to-mid water column away from the pleco's cave territory, and shares the same requirement for fast-flowing, well-oxygenated, soft-acidic water.

Slender Hemiodus
Peaceful, fast-moving South American schooling characin explicitly named on the Seriously Fish L. triactis profile. Occupies mid-water and does not compete for the pleco's cave territories. Temperature overlap (25–26°C) is real, and both species require soft, slightly acidic water with strong flow. Best kept in groups of 10+ to maintain natural schooling behavior.

Sterba's Corydoras
Warm-water-tolerant corydoras explicitly named (genus level) on the Seriously Fish L. triactis profile. Corydoras sterbai tolerates temperatures up to 30°C (86°F), making it the one Corydoras species whose full thermal range covers the pleco's preferred 25–30°C. Occupies sandy open substrate rather than the rocky cave territories the pleco defends, minimizing competition. Peaceful and robust.
