Good tank mates

We don't have a temperament or community rating set on this listing, but the description does note that males can get territorial. As a labyrinth fish it's generally calm, though to be safe, compatibility depends on the individual fish, so it's best to call us for pairing advice. In general, watch tankmates with a territorial male, give it some surface cover, and avoid known fin-nippers and anything aggressive or large enough to eat it.

Good to know

This is the three-spot gourami, Trichopodus trichopterus, and like other gouramis it's a labyrinth fish that can gulp air at the surface to breathe.

What is in the tanks and each animal's temperament vary — call (814) 456-9445 for pairing advice.
